On the hunt...

Building a house means I get to do one of my favorite things - Shop! I would much rather shop for house stuff any day than clothes and fashion but shopping for furniture can be a challenge.

We are on the hunt for the perfect vanity for our powder bathroom. I want something unique that looks more like furniture than a bathroom sink. Here are a few of my inspiration photos. All images are from Pinterest.

I love how the sink is over to one side so you have more usable counter space.
Love this painted dresser by Miss Mustard Seed!
I need my Aunt Cora's painting talents to recreate something similar!

Since the powder room won't have a linen closet, one like this would work well for storage!

Love the simpleness of these two... Would look even better with a big basket underneath filled with fluffy white towels!

We drove to Atlanta last weekend to go to Scott's Antique Market, which is a great place to find furniture and unique stuff. It is only open on the 2nd weekend of each month. We had went in January and found this really nice chest of drawers. At $390 it was a great deal but I think it was too big for our space and we did not buy it since we were still waiting to close on our loan.

I was kicking myself for not buying it and I keep comparing everything else to it! Nonetheless, it was not there anymore last weekend and we really did not find anything else that was quite right.

So we are still on a mission to find that perfect piece!

Which one is your favorite?
