Our builder started clearing the lot last Tuesday. I was shocked at how fast he started but he is also building a spec home on the lot right beside ours so he was really knocking out two birds with one stone.
Here is our lot before they started clearing it a few weeks ago. We were so excited to just get the black tarp fence thing!
This is last week when they started clearing the lot. I just happened to drive by on my lunch break so you can imagine how excited I was to finally see some action!
And this is what our lot looks like today. I drove by at lunch and they delivered the Porta-Potty so hopefully that means that the construction crew will be out there working soon!
We think those mounds of dirt is the dirt foundation for the slab for the garage and backporch. The rest of our house is on a crawl space. We can't wait to see how it will actually sit on the lot!
